Days 1-2
Habarana
From the airport in Colombo, you'll head into the Cultural Triangle. Stay a couple of nights in Habarana, your base for exploring the iconic sights of this must-visit region. Wake early to climb to the top of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and later, witness the stunning frescoes and statues in the famous cave temples of Dambulla. Stay two nights at Cinnamon Habarana Village.

Days 3-4
Kandy
This chaotic city is home to the famed Buddhist Temple of the Tooth, Lankatilaka Temple, Gadaladeniya Temple and the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens. Stay two nights at the Cinnamon Citadel Kandy.

Days 5-7
Trincomalee
Your journey continues on to Trincomalee on Sri Lanka’s east coast, where you’ll check into a beachside hotel. Two nights here gives you enough time to get to know Pigeon Island, a nature park spread across two islands connected by coral where you can spot abundant marine life, from colourful reef fish to rare species of sea turtles. Three nights at Trinco Blu by Cinnamon are included.
Trincomalee
Days 8-10
Yala
Travel south along the east coast to Yala, a wild and beautiful National Park. You’ll stay on the coast just outside the park at Cinnamon Wild Yala. It’s a perfect location to enjoy the jungle and the beach, and to venture into the park on a jeep safari to see Sri Lankan elephants and scan the terrain for leopards and sloths.
