Travel Kuoni

Our favourite causes

Our team at Kuoni certainly go all out when it comes to raising money for our favourite causes. From outdoor movie screenings to spoof music videos, marathons to making extraordinary cakes, we’re always trying to give something back and positively support those in need.

Since 1996, Honeypot has been supporting young carers aged 5 to 12 years old, who can spend up to 50 hours a week caring for a loved one. This can include cooking, cleaning, administering medication and emotional support.

This partnership will give us the chance to use our volunteer days, from hosting memory-making days for young carers to decorating respite houses for special occasions.

We’re actively involved with the DERTOUR Foundation UK, our parent company’s non‑profit organisation dedicated to education, equality and environmental protection worldwide.

From coral reef restoration to women’s empowerment projects, the Foundation funds grassroots initiatives that create lasting positive change. Read about our featured projects or donate to support their work.

LifeLine is a charity that supports those working in the travel industry when they need it most. From financial help for families facing serious medical conditions to unexpected challenges such as redundancy, relationship breakdown, accidents, or bereavement, we’re here to provide support. Each year we donate £1 per Kuoni employee to LifeLine.

Charity in action

A volunteering day for Honeypot

A 14-strong Kuoni team spent a volunteering day at Honeypot’s Hampshire House, decorating for Easter and donating eggs while learning about the vital respite it provides for young carers.

Mangrove Conservation in Sri Lanka

Healthy mangroves are crucial for Sri Lanka’s coastal regions, storing carbon, protecting shorelines and supporting wildlife. The DERTOUR Foundation works with the Wildlife and Ocean Resource Conservation team to replant mangroves in the Koggala Lagoon, with 15,000 trees planted so far, offsetting 6,000 tonnes of CO₂. The project also provides local jobs and offers low‑impact tourism experiences, including non‑motorised catamaran trips.

Born Free
under the stars

We held a movie under the stars at our headquarters in Dorking, screening Born Free with star Virginia McKenna present. The event raised £2393 for the Born Free Foundation.

Books and equipment for schools in India

We’ve worked closely with Whittalls in India to help provide exercise books, stationary and sports equipment to a little school in the village of Gallala.
