The Tang Dynasty Show is one of the most popular in Xi’an and is a wonderful and vibrant introduction to this ancient city. The only show of its kind to be accompanied by a live classical Chinese orchestra, the show takes you on an enchanting journey through the Tang Dynasty which you’ll soon discover was one of the most prosperous and glorious of all! The story of the Tang Dynasty is told through the art of acting, singing and dancing and showcases many traditional performances that have been around for centuries. It’s a great way to get a taste of authentic Chinese performance. As well as feasting your eyes on the colourful costumes and talented dancers on stage, we enjoy a traditional banquet of delicious dumplings filled with everything from vegetables and chicken through to mushrooms and meat.
