Voyager Ziwani Tented Camp

Enjoy Kilimanjaro views

Voyager Ziwani is a luxury tented camp set in a conservancy on the edge of Tsavo National Park.

Voyager Ziwani is a luxury tented camp set in a conservancy on the edge of Tsavo National Park. Once a German garrison from WWII, it’s now a peaceful haven next to the Sante River.

It's one of the few camps that offers activities for children where they can learn about their natural environment and the local culture. From golden-breasted starlings to the Somali ostrich, the birdlife in Tsavo is prolific. Game drives explore the conservancy by day and night, bush walks will bring you closer to the smaller creatures and after dinner, you can go stargazing.

Why we love Voyager Ziwani Tented Camp

  • Set in a conservancy rather than the national park, guests are allowed to take part in guided bush walks and enjoy night time game drives

  • You can sit on the veranda of your tent and watch the crocodiles, birds and hippos, who sleep on an island in the middle of the dam

  • Visit Mzima Springs, the Shetani Lava Flow and Chala, a crater lake where wildlife congregates

  • Don’t miss the stargazing, the skies are so clear you can see constellations and planets through the telescope
