With just nine villas in a stunning natural setting, at Machangulo you’ll feel like you’ve been let in on a best-kept secret.
There aren’t many places where you arrive at your hotel by speedboat, but Machangulo Beach Lodge is one of them. This rustic boutique hideaway is nestled between dune forests, soft golden beaches and Indian Ocean waters.
Snorkelling and diving are big news here, whether it’s snorkelling in front of the lodge during neap tides, shore dives or heading out by boat to discover unexplored reefs. Spend your day relaxing at the pool, on the beach, in your hammock or explore the shore by paddleboard or kayak. Romantic dhow cruises set off for Flamingo Bay with a picnic of treats. Bird watching can be done on foot, by boat or kayak with great white pelicans and African fish eagles just some of the species found here.
