The Strand Hotel combines German old-world charm with stylish and contemporary interiors.
The Strand Hotel is a destination in its own right, largely due to its range of dining experiences and its prime position on Swakopmund’s Mole, a narrow peninsula surrounded by the sea and beach. Architecturally, the Strand is stylish and contemporary, with plenty of German, old-world charm. When you arrive in the atrium, you’re greeted by huge windows showcasing ocean views and given a glass of homemade iced tea or a coffee. It’s like being welcomed into someone’s home.

Named after the ocean that surrounds it, the Atlantic Spa offers a range of signature treatments including Desert Stone massages, sea salt exfoliations and pressure point foot rituals. Facilities include crystal steam rooms, sauna, rain showers and a rooftop garden terrace.
