 Kigali Serena

An upmarket oasis

Kigali Serena Hotel provides a luxury base in the heart of Rwanda's capital

Surrounded by lush gardens, Kigali Serena's low-rise modern buildings are wrapped around a spacious landscaped pool area, where it’s easy to forget you’re just a short stroll from the main business district. After exploring the city, guests can be pampered in the Moroccan-style spa or get active: there’s a gym and classes in everything from kickboxing to yoga and t'ai chi.

The interior design is faithful to the Serena ethos of reflecting the local cultural heritage, at its most striking in the skylit four-storey lobby atrium – a dramatic setting for a nightcap – with its African-sunset colour scheme and Rwandan artworks.
