MCH Private Tented Camp
For a nostalgic safari experience
MCH Private Tented Camp is an intimate property nestled within the Greater Makalali Private Game Reserve.
Due to its elevated position guests can enjoy wonderful views over the kopjes to the Drakensberg Mountains. The 22,000-hectare reserve is bursting with wildlife including elephant, giraffe, lion, leopard, wild dog and cheetah.
Each morning and late afternoon there are game drives in open vehicles to explore the reserve. The camp also offers guided bush walks or guests may prefer to relax on their deck in the hammock looking out for wildlife that often comes through the camp. Microlight flights and the chance to bathe or sleep out under the stars are also available.

There are indoor and outdoor dining areas although a dinner around the fire in the boma will be a highlight of your stay.
There is a small massage sala nestled in the bush.
Explore the area on a game drive, see the region from the air on a microlight flight or get up close the smaller species on a bush walk. Experience the camp's 'safari for the soul' where you can indulge in a bath surrounded by nature and sleep out on a deck under the stars.
