Family owned and managed, Breezes Beach Club & Spa is charming and romantic.
Part of The Zanzibar Collection and fronting one of Condé Nast Traveller’s top 30 island beaches, Breezes is a tropical hideaway that’s particularly popular with couples. There are plenty of shaded loungers on the white sand beach and the hotel’s exotic gardens surround a large freeform pool.
Breezes blends seamlessly into the tropical island landscape, with bungalows dotted around hibiscus and bougainvillea gardens. It is also home to one of Zanzibar’s most professional and experienced PADI diving centres and has a luxurious spa. The chefs showcase the wonderful spices Zanzibar is known for and serve seafood sourced directly from local fishermen; some of the guests’ favourite dining experiences include barbecue nights and traditional Swahili feasts.

Spacious rooms are housed in two-storey buildings and have a white and brass colour scheme, with cotton throws and Zanzibari furniture that was hand-carved by a dedicated team of carpenters. Standard Rooms are on the ground floor and set back from the beach, while Deluxe Rooms are at the heart of the resort. Suites are located on the upper floor with a large balcony area.\

Facilities
The choice of restaurants includes the Salama Dining Room, where breakfast and dinner are served. Dinner alternates between themed buffet dining and a table service menu. The Breakers Grill serves a lunchtime menu on the beach under the palms whilst Tides is an intimate setting for a maximum of four guests.

Emulating the luxurious Sultans Bath Houses on the island, the Frangipani Spa's décor reflects a sophisticated Swahili Style, enhanced with relaxing music, candlelight and spice scented aromas. In this setting a variety of treatments and therapies are offered which are aimed at relieving stress, exhaustion and other impacts of a modern lifestyle.
You can also work-out in the gym.

Breezes is home to one of Zanzibar’s most professional and experienced PADI diving centres - The Rising Sun Dive Center, which offers all diving services from beginners to advanced diving. Experienced diving instructors provide personalised instruction on a one-to-one basis while advanced divers can enjoy the fascinating marine life of the south-east coast of Zanzibar.
The Water Club can arrange kitesurfing, sailing and windsurfing.
This family-run resort is environmentally aware, with a desalination plant and a recycling system in place. It also supports a local school and has funded the creation of a maternity unit at the village clinic.
