Somalisa Camp

An intimate safari camp

This award-winning safari camp offers simple luxury in Hwange National Park.

In the eastern heart of Hwange National Park, this gorgeous tented camp is where high-end luxury meets romantic adventure. Promising exceptional safari experiences, Somalisa Camp sits in a private concession, alongside a game-rich ancient floodplain. Lion, leopard, hyena, zebra, roan and sable antelope are just some of the species that you may see on your daily game drives or on a guided bush walk.

Hwange is known as ‘the land of the giants’ due to its large population of elephants and it’s not uncommon for them to be found around the camp, and gathered by the pool.

Why we love Somalisa Camp

  • Its eco-friendly strategy merges perfectly with its elegant style

  • Innovative decoration incorporates lots of natural elements like wood and copper

  • Somalisa Camp is set under an acacia grove under these beautiful trees that the elephants love

  • Watch the endless views of the plains from your copper slipper bath tub
