Housed in Vancouver’s former Stock Exchange, the elegant EXchange Hotel resulted from a successful heritage restoration project that revitalised the original building into stylish accommodation.

The EXchange has a distinctly glamorous feel about it. Perhaps it’s the marble-clad lobby, the decadent furnishings in the guestrooms, or simply the elegance of its Art Deco building? Or maybe it borrows some of its glam from its esteemed neighbour – luxury jeweller Cartier is across the street. Whether or not you’re in the market for high-end gems, there’s excellent retail in the area, particularly at the Pacific Center. Its location among Vancouver’s best shopping makes EXchange a superb spot for shopaholics who can recover with a cocktail in the hotel’s Bar Hydra after a day circling the malls.
