Placing you right in Bayahibe, when it comes to location, this place will blow you away; and as you venture inside, the delights just keep on coming. Offering herbal body rituals, aromatherapy massages and superfruit facials, the Drift Away Spa certainly lives up to its name. The Moringaia skincare products used are sourced locally from the Moringa, also known as the Miracle Tree. The products support the local community and are made in a lab powered by solar energy. There’s a fully equipped fitness centre and water aerobics sessions.
As well as a swimming pool, there’s an impressive waterpark with a lazy river and waterslides.
You can explore the coast by kayak or catamaran. Snorkel the shallows or dive below the waters to explore the corals and colourful marine life – this area of Bayahibe is one of the best diving locations in the Dominican Republic.
Children aged from 4 to 12 will be kept busy at the Kids’ Club. The activities are based around exploration, nature and science. Treasure hunts, musical events and a weekly camping adventure on the beach will keep them occupied. Teens can join discos, foam parties and weekly bonfires.
For moments together, there’s the fun-filled waterpark that comes complete with a lazy river and the sandy Blue Flag beach where sandy toes and sandcastle building make lasting memories. You can work the brain cells with some giant chess or get a little competitive over a game of table tennis or beach volleyball.
There are purpose-made Premium Family Suites which feature a separate living area with a sofa bed and a master bedroom for the grownups. A door that can close between the rooms means different bedtimes are a breeze.
The minimum ages in the Enclave Swim Out Rooms and the Enclave Suites is 13.
