Not terrible, but considering the price, it fell short of expectations, especially for a resort branded as a "Secrets." The food was mediocre, and it was unusual that there was no buffet available in the evening. The wait times at the restaurants were excessive; while I can tolerate some waiting, a two-hour wait was excessive. My husband and I experienced illness one night, which was quite unfortunate. There seemed to be a constant push for additional spending, with options for preferred upgrades, cabana rentals, butler services, and more. Without opting for these extras, one might feel undervalued, and they are not inexpensive. For Canadians, the spa prices are exorbitant. They advertise spa vouchers for $40, but the actual cost of a massage is inflated to $260 USD, effectively making it $220 USD after the voucher. The currency conversion is quite unfavorable for Canadians, bringing the total to approximately $315, plus gratuity. This pricing is unreasonable. The rooms and the hotel overall are in need of modernization. Additionally, it was quite challenging to find a spot on the beach. To be candid, I did not find the staff particularly welcoming at this resort. Another oddity was the lack of reggae music; it felt as though we could have been on any tropical island rather than in Jamaica. Despite these issues, we managed to enjoy our time, but I would not choose to return.

The Good: Hotel and resort is very high quality. Beach is awesome. Although there are seaweeds, but the amount is neligible and does not block you of having a nice swim. Staff and bar tenders are all 5 star. I would definitely go there again The Bad: We expected more of Jamaican traditional dance and singing events. Most of the events are planned for weekends, while during weekdays you don't ses much interesting events. It is a big miss that the resort does not offer buffet for dinner. The line up for a la carte dinner restaurants was not pleasant. It does not make sense to be in Jamaica and be forced to eat Italian, mexican or French cuisine. The Ok: the number of regular beds around the pools could be increased. The front row for all pools were allocated to previllege guests which was not fair. But there several pools that you can enjoy
