Royalton Saint Lucia is a seriously tempting choice when you’ve got a lot of boxes to check off your holiday must-have list.
This one has it all: all-inclusive, kids club, a great choice of restaurants and bars, a beautiful beach – and that’s all just for starters. Set on a magnificent arc of beach lapped by twinkling sapphire and emerald water, this large resort is truly one of those ‘has it all’ places. The large suites have a contemporary feel, with walnut and stainless-steel finishes and upholstery in shades of coffee and cream. They all have Jacuzzis, and some have direct access to semi-private swimming pools. If you opt for a Diamond Club room, you get a raft of tempting extra benefits, including (but not limited to!) access to private bars, butler assistance, an upgraded mini-bar, an hour of therapeutic hydrotherapy, and preferred room locations – worth considering if you’re planning a trip that needs even more wow factor.

Unlike some all-inclusive resorts, you’ll find a la carte restaurants included at Royalton Saint Lucia. And wow, what a choice you’ve got. Feast on Japanese specialities one night, Italian the next. There’s a steakhouse and a Tex-Mex restaurant, too. Although if everyone fancies something different from each other, the international buffet, Gourmet Marché, is a sure bet.

The Royal Spa* has a wide-ranging menu, from the traditional massages and facials you might expect to signature treatments like bamboo therapy using bamboo canes to stimulate your skin, muscles, and nervous system. Children aged seven and over are welcome too, with a delightful treatment comprising a chocolate wrap and strawberry and cucumber mini facial for the littlest spa-goers.
However you like to get active, chances are you’ll find it here. Start your day with sunrise yoga or an aquafit class, or challenge your family to a tennis or pickleball match. The gym is impressively well-equipped if you’d rather get your miles in on a treadmill and lift some weights, but there are plenty of instructor-led classes, too.
Kayaking, snorkelling, and introductory scuba diving lessons are available from the beach.
Childcare options are available once your little ones turn four – and then the fun really begins! The Clubhouse is where they can meet up with their new friends, and once they turn 13, the Hangout Teen Lounge is available to them. Here, they can take part in all sorts of teen-orientated activities, from water sports and beach volleyball to PlayStation tournaments and open-air theatre shows.
