An all-inclusive boutique resort with private butlers offers an exclusive escape – and you can access the sister resort for more restaurants and facilities.
This adults-only sanctuary lies at the bottom of St Lucia’s southwest coast on 85 acres of serene grounds. 24-hour room service and a personal butler on hand to provide food, daily signature cocktails and arrangements for water and beach activities.
Why we love Serenity at Coconut Bay
-
Your butler will transport you by golf cart and fill a cooler with beverages, fresh towels, a picnic lunch, a fresh fruit platter, and snacks.
-
If you’d rather stay in, your butler can serve your meals on your outdoor patio, and for more privacy, butlers can deliver food to the private mailbox at your suite entrance.
-
Oceanfront beach cabanas have freshwater showers, a daybed and lounge chairs.
-
The resort is just five minutes from the airport – perfect for whisking away to paradise in no time.
Rooms
A stay here is almost all about enjoying the privacy of your villa-like suite. Each of the hotel’s 36 suites is light and luxurious, with a beautiful mahogany four-poster bed. The secluded patio area has a hammock for two and a wet bar, but it’s the immaculately decked private plunge pool and waterfall which seals the deal. Opt for a Grande Plunge Pool Butler Suite and you’ll also enjoy a superb adjoining living room.
Facilities

You’ll experience first-class cuisine at The Greathouse restaurant, whose warm welcome lounge and built-in wine cooler are as enticing as the aromas drifting from the open kitchen. Guests at Serenity also have unlimited complimentary access to the award-winning Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa, so for even more choice, head next door to one of eight additional restaurants.

On the oceanfront, Sanctuary Spa is a haven for pampering. The spa has a team of dedicated therapists providing nourishing facials and massages in indoor treatment rooms or private oceanfront cabanas, by day or night. A range of luxurious treatments use local organic products, including aloe from the resort’s gardens. Steam rooms, saunas, an atrium garden, and a relaxation lounge are all just a quick stroll or a zippy golf-cart ride away. Serenity guests can choose to be pampered from the privacy of suite, and feel the warmth of the sun on their skin, or relax under the stars.
Serenity guests can enjoy a plethora of activities and experiences while staying at this romantic oasis. Test your skills, masterfully guided by the head chef at the sushi making class on Wednesdays. On Thursdays indulge in Champagne & Chocolate, hosted by the pastry chef in all things chocolate, followed by the Paino Bar Social. For wine enthusiasts, Mondays are for the ‘UnWine’ session, where you pair French Artesian cheese with the wine tasting experience. For those that wish to explore the nature of this beautiful island, Serenity guests can go horse riding on the one-mile stretch of beach, or explore the Sulphur Springs, by Saint Lucia's famous drive-in volcano.
Guests of Serenity can enjoy full access to the sister resort next door, Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa. Enjoy non-motorised water sports, including stand-up paddleboarding, snorkelling and kayaking. For the adventurer in all of us, stroll down to the Surf Shack, for lessons in kite boarding and windsurfing.

Some people say that if you have had a fantastic holiday you should not go back as it will never be as good the second time. The complete opposite is true at Serenity. We were welcomed as soon as we got out of the taxi like returning family and the holiday was quite simply fabulous. Food and service are amazing and being treated as family members by staff did not detract from the quality and professionalism of the whole team. Everyone pulls together to ensure guests have the best possible experience and there are lots of smiles along the way. Entertainment and activities are varied and enjoyable, as is just lazing by the pool being waited on hand and foot Worthy of a special mention are Tracey in housekeeping who showed us kindness, Rosey, Ray, Sabby, Joela, Hannah, our butler Kaisa and her colleagues Davidson, Kimberley and Ali, Natoya who among other things runs a fun Tiki cocktail class, Lee, Delon, Charles and of course our “long lost son” Kevin The management team are great too, Shanice, Sadie and Chris are very visible always on the lookout for anything that could improve the guest experience…but I was having such a good time I could never think of a thing that required improvement! We will most definitely be booking a return trip next year and cannot recommend this holiday resort highly enough

This resort was amazing. We had such a relaxing vacation staying here for a week. The food was amazing and the staff was great assuring we had everything we need. This is great place for an adult only relaxing retreat. What a beautiful place to stay.

Undoubtedly it is the staff that make this little corner of paradise a truly wonderful experience. Kevin, Ray & Charles at the bar and the infectiously happy Sabby, along with all of the team at Serenity made this stay a complete joy. It has to be said that our Butler McGregor really did make the stay for us. He was absolutely unbelievable! Although not intrusive, he seemed to know when you needed something and went the extra miles to make sure we were incredibly well looked after. What a superstar! The resort is on the Atlantic side of the Island, so the sea is not the scene of tranquility that we were expecting. However, Serenity has the most amazing Beach Cabanas with amazing views over to the Maria Islands Nature Reserve and a beautiful warm breeze that made the two days we spent at the Cabanas our favourite. They are a ten minute walk from the rooms, but that was not an issue as McGregor was on the end of the butler phone to take care of everything, including drinks and lunch! Really incredible experience. Serenity is a truly wonderful place with very high quality amenities and standards of food and wine etc. however it will be the amazing staff that will stand out to us for a long time. They are what have made it such a special time. Thank you Serenity!
