The crème de la crème of Sani Resort’s five luxury hotels, Sani Asterias is a collection of large residences with water views on an immaculate stretch of private beach.
Fresh from a complete 2024 renovation, the spacious residences of Sani Asterias bring high-life living to the Sani Resort. Some have private infinity pools, some have direct beach access – all are within easy Michelin-starred dining and a small yet sumptuous Anne Sermonin Paris spa. There’s an abundance of activities to try in the wider Sani Resort, and many are complimentary, but the draw of your luxury abode might prove magnetic.
Why we love Sani Asterias
-
The large, luxury residences all have water views, whether you choose one that overlooks the marina or the beach. They have outdoor dining and lounging areas to maximise your time under sunny or starry skies.
-
The adults-only Anne Sermonin Paris spa is a soothing sanctuary of calm, but you can also choose to have spa treatments in your residence.
-
The private, serviced beach is an immaculate sweep of sand lapped by the Aegean. There’s also a beautiful, heated pool close to the marina.
-
Sani Asteria is home to Sani Resort’s flagship restaurant, the incredible Water. And at Over Water, you can savour the dishes designed by two Michelin-star chef, Stéphanie Le Quellec.
Rooms
The gorgeous and contemporary residences here are seriously swish, created using a tonal palette of warm neutrals with abundant natural finishes - think oak, stone, linen, and cotton. You’ll find all the luxury must-haves, from the integrated sound system to the wine fridge. Light pours into the residences, thanks to their glass-fronted design and the focus on al fresco living created by a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor areas. As much consideration has been given to the furniture and set-up of the terraces and balconies as the plush interior living areas.
Facilities
Sani Resort is renowned for its top restaurants and excellent food, and you’ll find two elegant restaurants within Sani Asterias, including one helmed by a double Michelin-starred chef. There are more relaxed options, too, particularly considering you have access to over two dozen other options across the wider Sani Resort. And thankfully, fabulous Greek flavours are never hard to find. Your most memorable evenings may begin with cocktails in Water Bar with live jazz, the perfect opening act for a sophisticated evening under starlit skies.
Over Water
This French restaurant, overseen by a double Michelin-starred chef, Stéphanie Le Quellec, offers exceptional dining exclusively for guests over 12.
Psaroyannos
A traditional Greek restaurant that champions the catch of the day. Suitable for children and open for lunch and dinner.
Water
The resort’s flagship restaurant showcases an exciting menu of Mediterranean and French favourites.
Water Bar
This elegant lounge bar often features live jazz, which is the perfect accompaniment to the signature cocktails, champagne, and cognacs.

Twenty-six restaurants across the resort are available to book if you’re on a half-board or full-board basis.

The Spa Retreat is exclusively for Sani Asterias guests and offers therapies developed by Anne Sermonin. It’s a small spa with two private rooms with steam baths (one for couples) and is only available to guests over 16, unlike other spas in the Sani Resort, where teen treatments are available.
Spa aside, there are other ways to prioritise your health and wellbeing, from complimentary guided jogs to al fresco fitness. A range of specialist yoga classes, Pilates, and meditation are also available.
You’ll find a wide selection of ways to get out on the Aegean, from sailing trips and yacht cruises above the waves to snorkelling below. Water sports include windsurfing, kayaking, waterskiing, wakeboarding and parasailing.
