Tivoli Alvor has 491 rooms and suites with a range of designs suited for both romantic escapes and fun family getaways. Each room features a bright modern décor and a balcony overlooking the hotel’s glorious gardens – perfect for those morning coffees or evening aperitifs. The Family Room, Family Deluxe Room and Premium Family Two Bedroom are ideal for those travelling with children, with the latter offering a more spacious option with two ensuite bedrooms. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Rooms are great for couples. If you’re here for a honeymoon, a special occasion or just because, there’s also a Premium Suite for the utmost luxury.
Overlooking the resort grounds, these rooms are a comfy spot to retreat to each evening. There’s room for three adults but rooms for single occupancy are also available.

Essenze covers all bases at all times of the day, with fresh pastries in the morning and international delights come dinner. For a more upscale breakfast experience, Roastic has you covered. The steakhouse is also great on an evening, serving up premium meats straight from the grill. With a delicious Italian à la carte, Carosello is your go-to for pizzas, pastas and beyond, whilst Mad Med offers a tantalising spread of fresh Mediterranean fare. With four restaurants on site, there’s more than enough to satisfy your cravings but you can also take advantage of an exclusive dining credit where you can sample some local restaurants too. On site, you can also find two bars. Salty will have all your drinks needs covered by day, whilst Shore! is the place to be when the sun goes down with live entertainment and refreshing cocktails on hand.
Essenze
Known as the ‘all-day family hub’, the resort’s main establishment serves up breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks. You can find enough options for even the fussiest of eaters, with fresh pastries and hot dishes for breakfast and a range of worldly delights for lunch and dinner.
Carosello
You’ll feel like you’re in Italy with a trip to Carosello. Featuring an ever-changing buffet to choose your starter as well as an elegant à la carte menu for your main course, you’ll be treated to authentic Italian flavours from 6pm until 10pm. Reservations are required to dine at this venue.
Roastic
A premium choice for breakfast (Premium All Inclusive guests only) and dinner, this rustic steakhouse is a treat for the senses. You can expect quality cuts of meat served straight from the grill, along with an endless selection of sides from the buffet. Reservations are required to dine at this venue.
Mad Med
Immerse yourself in the flavours of the Mediterranean with a trip to the seasonal venue Mad Med. Take your pick from a buffet style spread and an a la carte menu featuring fresh seafood and seasonal dishes. Reservations are required to dine at this venue.

The Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort’s wellness sanctuary is just for adults and there are four treatment rooms, an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath. The menu features treatments inspired by traditional healing practices from across Asia and Central America alongside hot stone massages, cryo-thermal therapies and scrubs. You can join instructor-led yoga sessions, both group and private, and book training sessions in the fitness centre or even arrange a personalised fitness programme.
The Pluma Junior Club is set up perfectly with a host of facilities for family-focussed fun. There’s a shallow splash pool with small slides for the smallest guests, as well as a playground and a mini golf course where you can have competitive (but always friendly!) family moments.
The resort can arrange external babysitters to look after the kids if you’re planning a spa day or a romantic evening meal at the resort. When it comes to sleeping arrangements, there a few options; if you are travelling with younger children, the Family Room with double sofa bed will work well, however, the Deluxe Family Room has a couple of sleeping areas with the en suite in between – the second area has twin beds so suits older kids better. Then there are the Premium Family Two Bedroom Suites which as the name suggests has a couple of separate bedrooms, ideal if you all want a bit more space.
