A charming art-deco heritage lodge near to Ranthambore National Park.

This 80 year-old hunting lodge managed by Taj hotels exudes history and charm with its sumptuous and traditional decor that has hosted many illustrious guests including Queen Elizabeth II. Having been lovingly restored, the lodge pays tribute to its glorious past with its original dining hall, lounge and bar, complete with beautiful heritage murals and a grand veranda.

There is a main dining room where a mix of both Indian and Continental cuisine is served and you can also choose to eat al fresco on the Neem terrace. For recreation you can take a safari into the Ranthambore National Park and enjoy nature talks and walks. There is also a pool, bicycles, table tennis and massage treatments.

Each of the luxurious rooms and suites at the lodge enjoy large and comfortable living areas and combine old with new effortlessly. Though decorated in a charming rustic style, additions like custom lighting and dual massage showerheads add luxury to your stay. Superior Charm rooms are bright and comfortable, well equipped with modern amenities, while the Deluxe Allure Suites enjoy garden views and have the option of a private courtyard. In the main art-deco building, the stylish Premium Temptation Suites indulge in rich colours and include a luxurious bedroom, a spacious living room and access to a private lawn or terrace.

Accessible from Agra (approx. 6 hours by road/4 hours by rail) or Jaipur (approx. 4 hours by road/2 by rail). These cities are reached in 4 and 5½ hours respectively from Delhi which is a 8½ hour flight from the UK.
There is 12 acres of lush foliage surrounding the Sawai Madhopur Lodge and its just 20 minutes from Ranthambore National Park and its famous Bengal tigers.
