Taj West End

An oasis tucked away in Bangalore

Colonial charm in a sprawling city garden at Taj West End.

Taj West End lies at the heart of the ‘garden city’ of Bengaluru (Bangalore). This iconic hotel, and landmark of the city, began life in 1887 as a humble ten-room inn. It now boasts 117 rooms and 24 suites amongst its 20 acres of tropical gardens. Relax poolside or head to the J Wellness Circle where a range of holistic treatments for body and soul are offered combining traditional Indian rituals with contemporary therapies.

Why we love Taj West End

  • Set in 20 acres, there are nearly 450 varieties of trees

  • Once you’re inside the property, there’s no traffic noise, just the sound of birds chirping, especially in the morning

  • The first post box in Bangalore is here and still functional so why not send a customised postcard home?

  • The J Wellness Circle offers a range of traditional healing therapies

Located in the centre of Bengaluru, Taj West End is conveniently positioned for the Bangalore Golf Club and shopping centres
It is a 1-hour drive from Kempegowda International Airport
