Heritage Madurai

A leafy oasis with a rich history

Heritage Madurai is spread over 17 acres of grounds filled with trees which provide shade on the hottest days.

Dating back 2,500 years, Madurai is one of India’s most ancient cities. At the heart of the city is Heritage Madurai, formerly the Madurai Club. The property has been restored by Vinod Jayasinghe, a prodigy of famous architect, Geoffrey Bawa. It’s a great base for exploring Madurai’s famous buildings including the Meenaskhi Temple, the Gandhi Memorial Museum and Thirumalai Nayak Palace. After city explorations, a visit to the spa will leave you feeling rejuvenated.
