 Milaidhoo Maldives

Small island, big luxury

Intimate and stylish, at Milaidhoo, it’s about enjoying the natural environment in the folds of fuss-free luxury.

This stunning small island sits in the remote Baa Atoll – the Maldives’ only UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve frequented by dolphins, manta rays and whale sharks and known for its seriously swish but sensitively-designed resorts. Only non-motorised water sports are available here, affording a lovely sense of calm to this tranquil island.

Why we love Milaidhoo Maldives

  • Set in the oh-so-desirable Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve

  • Pure, unintrusive luxury perfected, where every whim is catered for with minimum fuss

  • A generous all-inclusive option is a significant step up from the half board

  • The food is utterly sublime and created by a skilled team of talented chefs

A superb choice of restaurants that emphasise fresh and local foods created by an engaged team of enthusiastic chefs. Ocean will be your most-visited venue, but don’t miss the opportunity to dine at the resort’s signature Ba’theli or pull up a seat at the Shoreline Grill’s theatrical Chef’s Table.

Ba’theli Lounge & Restaurant
Floating on the lagoon, guests dine on the boat deck where, beneath starry night skies, chefs deliver an island-influenced menu of locally sourced dishes. There’s indoor seating where you can watch the sea life through glass floors.

The Shoreline Grill
Meats and freshly-caught seafood are simply cooked and beautifully presented. Dine barefoot in a private beach pavilion, or inside the grill with a view of the show kitchens.

Shoreline Grill Chef’s Table
A team of chefs cook dinner just the way you want it and right before your eyes at a teppanyaki-style table.

Shoreline Grill Wine Room
Relax in the Wine Room with a flight of wines and canapes.

Ocean
At breakfast, treats are delivered to your table alongside a buffet offering. Feast on international dishes from the a la carte menu for lunch and dinner.

Compass Pool Bar
Open from early till late, there’s a full drinks menu and tempting choices of food, from wood-fired pizzas to bento boxes, salads, and sandwiches.

A calm island surrounded by beautiful blue waters. Great food and relaxing music made the holiday even more special. Upon our arrival, we received the warmest welcome — the senior team, including the Resort Manager (Celine), Assistant Front Office Manager (Shareef), and their team, were all there waiting for us with a smile. Not to forget the operator (Halaf), who was always welcoming and quick to fulfill any requests we made over the phone. Our butler, Anth, was always at our service, often meeting us at the dining table just to check how our day was going and whether we needed anything else. The service was simply amazing. A special shout-out to the F&B team — every time we went for a meal, they were incredibly welcoming. They explained the menu with care and made excellent suggestions, clearly showing their expertise. Let me mention one dish for you all — the lava cake. It was outstanding! Since it was my wife's birthday, the surprise arranged by the Milaidhoo team went far beyond our expectations. A lovely stay on a beautiful island. This our small story of the small island ❤️🌹

----- This was our third trip to the Maldives, and thanks to Milaidhoo Resort, it was absolutely perfect. Everything about the resort—the atmosphere, the service, the facilities, and the food—was exceptional. Most of all, our butler Ammadey was simply the best. He was kind, attentive, and professional. Ammadey was truly the highlight of our Maldives experience. In addition, the staff at the Ocean restaurant, the dive center, and those who joined us on the dolphin tour were all wonderful and made our stay even more special. We’re leaving the Maldives with only the best memories. I highly recommend this resort to anyone planning a trip to the Maldives.

Our beach villa was breathtaking. All staff of Miladhoo were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was great, the room was always clean and tidy. A special thank you to our butler Amna who took care of us and insured we had everything we needed. Definitely will be visiting again!
