Relaxation by the sand

This modern hotel, with beautifully landscaped grounds beside a broad golden beach, is an inviting spot to start or end your holiday.

Drink in the ocean views and cooling breezes at this contemporary beachfront property in the heart of Negombo, just 40 minutes from the airport. With 6.5 acres of landscaped grounds featuring a super-sized freeform pool fringed by palm trees as the focal point, it’s an ideal spot to relax at the beginning or end of your Sri Lankan travels. Make time to unwind with a nature-based treatment in the inviting spa, graze on global dishes from pizza to fusion tapas, and watch the sun dip into the sea at the stylish top-floor lounge bar. Bustling Negombo itself is popular with couples, friends and families, and this elegantly decorated hotel is equally welcoming to all.

Why we love Sentido Heritance Negombo

  • It’s in an excellent location, in sprawling grounds right on the beach but within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants and bars

  • Even the pickiest eaters will find plenty to tempt them in the two restaurants and two bars, from mini burgers to Sri Lankan favourites

  • Children will be in their element in the super-sized kids’ pool, while the grown-ups will relish the restorative peace and quiet of the spa
