Why we love Hotel Caesius Thermae & Spa Resort

  • Guests can walk to the charming town of Bardolino. The town is famous for its wine and olive oil production. Explore the narrow streets, lined with colourful houses as you meander down to the lake.

  • Described as a 'temple of well-being' the spa facilities do not disappoint with a range of treatments and specific detox and weight loss programmes.

  • There’s a whole host of Ayurveda treatments – a rare offering in Italy – to choose from.

  • Aside from the spa facilities, the resort has created some wonderful cultural experiences including cooking lessons, grappa and wine tastings.

We had 2 nights here before moving to the north of Garda, after our holiday plans changed. As a result I don’t think we got the best choice of rooms in a block away from the main hotel, the rooms were basic, a little old in design but clean. Balconies not great. Breakfasts very nice with a great selection and very nice seating area. The main pool in the hotel is excellent and probably its strongest asset. The spa is huge, with some lovely areas and didn’t feel busy in August. Walking into town takes about 20 minutes along the lake, a nice walk. We didn’t try the bar at the hotel but it did t seem very lively or well used when we were there.

We had a wonderful holiday. The rooms are good and the outdoor pools and garden a delight We were on half-board. Fantastic and safe food! I am allergic to among other gluten, dairy and garlic and the staff was very attentive. Highly recommended.
