 Hotel Continental Wellness & Spa

A charming lakeside setting

A wellness retreat, perfectly positioned to explore historic Sirmione.

Just a short walk from the heart of Sirmione and right on the lake shore, it’s hard to find a better setting in this beautiful region. The interior of the hotel has a classic feel and is furnished with many original features like Murano glass chandeliers and a marble staircase, giving it a luxurious feel. Sunny days can be spent lounging by the water’s edge or in the raised Jacuzzi. There is an outdoor pool with lake views, but if you fancy a dip in the lake itself just walk to the end of the private jetty and step in. The wellness centre features an outdoor swimming pool, sauna, steam bath and relaxation area with salt wall and iodine therapy.

Why we love Hotel Continental Wellness & Spa

  • The enchanting town of Sirmione is on the doorstep. This popular peninsular town divides the east and western parts of Lake Garda and is wonderful to explore on foot, especially when the bougainvillea is in full bloom.

  • The wellness centre is a sensory experience, especially with its chromotherapy showers that use colour and light to improve your mental health.

  • If you fancy a refreshing dip in the lake there is a private jetty with direct access.

  • Sirmione has plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, highly recommended for a relaxing lunch.

We stayed at hotel continental for 1 night . The views are amazing looking over lake Garda . The heated infinity pool was a very nice touch and I would stay again . The rooms was on 2 floors and was quite nice with a nice balcony looking out to the pools and on the lake . Even though it was spacious the room could have done with being refurbished a little . But it was fine for what we needed . The really stunning part of this holiday was the pool . I would recommend staying here .

I read with a wry smile the glowing reviews which were far from my experience. As a single I was in a cupboard lacking a chest of drawers other than aluminium pole to hang clothes but no doors. My sheets hadn't been changed by day 5 when I asked for it to be done. Food variable. Staff, with the exception of the Basil Fawlty Manager, were lovely and couldn't have done more to meet my needs.
