B Ocean Resort Fort Lauderdale

Nautical fun in Fort Lauderdale

From the beach, it looks like the historic B Ocean Resort is a moored cruise ship. The nautical element continues with a nostalgic ship-themed bar featuring weekly live mermaid shows and a stellar seafood restaurant.

Built in 1956, this retro resort has hosted stars including Marilyn Monroe and Robert De Niro. Based on a private stretch of Fort Lauderdale Beach, it boasts a beautiful setting and some great amenities. There are two pools, including a beachfront infinity pool. The resort is set slightly away from the busier section of Fort Lauderdale Beach, but it’s only a few minutes along the sand to reach a medley of bars, shops and restaurants.
