The Don CeSar, St. Pete Beach

Florida's architectural icon

With roots dating back to 1928, Florida’s Pink Palace® infuses the beauty of the Gulf Coast with Gatsby-era elegance.

This candy floss-coloured palace gazes out over St Pete Beach, where white sands meet warm Gulf waters. The hotel’s hosted many a celebrity since its beginnings back in the Roaring Twenties, and it’s still a treasured Florida landmark today. High class dining, a large spa and two oceanfront pools provide everything needed for a chic beachfront break.

Step into the elegant setting of Maritana where locally sourced produce is the order of the day. Something of an institution at Don CeSar, the Society Table has been bringing together family and friends since 1928. Grab some sweet treats from Uncle Andy's Snacks before watching the sunset from the Beacon Pool Bar & Lookout. Finish your evening with drinks around the fire pits at the Rowe Bar or a night cap in the Lobby Bar.

The hotel has been undergoing changes since its Phase I renovation in 2018, and so far has unveiled refurbishment to the lobby at the Beach House Suites and the courtyard, as well as new beach and pool furniture.

In autumn 2019, The Don CeSar will complete Phase II, with property-wide renovations including the Lobby Bar, Uncle Andy's Ice Cream Parlor, Maritana Grille, Sea Porch and the Beach House Suites exteriors.

Phase III will take place in summer 2020, with the renovation of all guest rooms to evoke the historic Art Deco feel of the 1920s – upgraded layouts will allow for two queen-size beds instead of doubles, while some bathtubs will be replaced by showers.
