Universal Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn & Suites
Bringing SoCal vibes to Orlando
Beach-inspired Surfside Inn & Suites has an appealing coastal style, an easy breezy attitude, and some nice-to-have Universal Orlando perks.
While Surfside Inn & Suites is the smaller part of the two hotels that make up Universal Endless Summer Resort, with 750 rooms and suites, this hotel is hardly small. The two-bedroom suites are the highlight – they sleep six, but if you’re travelling with older kids or teens and want more space, these suites are a terrific option. They’ll also love the laid-back, surf-chic styling – it doesn’t feel too kiddy, but there’s still a sense of whimsy. Things are a little more pared back when it comes to pools and eating – there’s a single (albeit large) pool and a simple food court-style restaurant. But frankly, that could be all you need anyway.
Why we love Universal Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn & Suites
-
Two-bedroom suites are an excellent option for families with older kids or teens when you want everyone to have more space.
-
As an official Universal Orlando hotel, you’ll get perks like early park access and complimentary bus transfers. You can also use your room key to charge park purchases back to your room account to settle on departure.
-
This hotel strikes a good balance between a value-for-money resort without sacrificing a sense of style with its calm, cool, and considered beach theme.
-
Starbucks is on hand to grab coffee and snacks before heading out for the day, but you’ve also got the Beach Break Café at your fingertips for affordable and casual meals, drinks, and snacks at any time.
Rooms
Bright and light and decked out in coastal blues, there’s a lot to like about the style of the beach-themed rooms. This is one of Universal Orlando’s affordable hotels, so there’s a simplicity to them, but you’ll have everything you need for a relaxing stay – plus the beds are famously comfy. Although the standard rooms sleep four, the suites can often prove great value and almost double your space – worth a look for larger families or if your kids are older.
Facilities
Simple is the name of the game here. All the dishes served at Beach Break Café are self-serve and easy. Starbucks keeps you caffeinated and energised, and the Sand Bar provides refreshments for those well-earned pool days. And, when you get back after long days at the park, what could be better than hot, fresh pizza delivered straight to your room?
Beach Break Café
This handy food court serves meals all day long, with all options designed to be fast and affordable.
Sand Bar
Right by the pool, you can order frozen drinks, cocktails, beers, and smoothies.
Starbucks
Perfect for grabbing a quick coffee before jumping on the free bus to the Universal parks.
Surfside Pizza Delivery
