Disney's All-Star Sports Resort
It’s game time!
Delve into a world of American sports at this colourful, simple, fun-loving, Disney ‘value’ resort.
If you want to stay in a Disney hotel to take advantage of the benefits like early park entry and access to Disney dining but don’t want to fork out too much (especially if you know it’ll mainly be a place to sleep), Disney’s All-Star Resorts could be the budget option you need. There are three in all, and this sports-themed version celebrates the USA’s favourites with oversized American football helmets, a pool surrounded by ginormous surfboards, and a sports-themed food court.
Why we love Disney's All-Star Sports Resort
-
Convenience is the name of the game here. From the simple rooms to the easy-peasy food court-style restaurant, an outdoor pool for cooling off on hot Florida days and fast and free transport to the parks – this is a solid option for a lower-budget Walt Disney World trip.
-
Families can gather together to toast marshmallows over the campfire a few nights a week or settle down to watch outdoor movie screenings. You’ll get a day and evening activities schedule when you check-in.
-
If little ones have excess energy to burn off, there’s a playground and two huge swimming pools. Older kids can make tracks to the arcade for video games.
-
The rooms were refurbished in 2024 and feature a fixed queen-sized bed and a queen-sized pulldown bed, which can be stowed away to create more floor space during the day.
Facilities
Eating out is super casual here. The End Zone Food Court opens for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and snacks and drinks in between, so everyone can help themselves to whatever they fancy. You can grab refreshments from the pool bar if you’re spending the day by the pool. If you’re in the mood for a sit-down dinner, you’ve got plenty of options at Disney Springs, just a short, free bus ride away.
End Zone Food Court
Burgers, pizza, pasta, salads… you’ll find all the American favourites at the different food outlets around this huge food court.
Grandstand Spirits Pool Bar
A wide range of drinks and a selection of snacks are available by the main pool.
Whats Included
Room only
If the sports theming inspires you to get moving, there’s a mile-long jogging trail around the three All-Star resorts.
There are two swimming pools: the Surfboard Bay Pool, which has a separate kiddie pool for little ones, and the Grand Slam Pool. Look out for games, pool parties, trivia, and more by the Surfboard Bay Pool. Check the schedule at reception.
This is an ideal resort for families, with rooms designed to accommodate four. If there are more of you, you can request interconnecting rooms. Dining is family and allergy friendly, and there are plenty of activities on the schedule to keep everyone entertainment during the day. In the evening, look out for marshmallow toasting around the campfire and Disney movie screenings.
