Grand Naniloa, A DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel

Modern, light and with a sense of place, this popular hotel has a fantastic setting on the Waiakea Peninsula.

Built on a lava outcrop, this hotel really sets the tone for your time on the island of Hawaii – lava’s definitely something you’re going to see plenty of here. It’s located on Banyan Drive which is lined by huge banyan trees – a unique way to approach the hotel. Once you're here, you can enjoy the waterside setting; there’s no beach but that doesn’t distract from the incredible views that you can enjoy from every corner of the hotel. Behind the hotel there’s a nine-hole golf course which you can play for free and the small-but-perfectly-formed pool is a good spot to spend the time you are not out exploring.

The rooms and suites have all been renovated and have light and bright décor and some have splashes of deep purple. We highly recommend upgrading to one of the rooms which have ocean views, or even better – a room that has sea views and a balcony or a lanai. These are some pretty amazing vistas to wake up to each day.
