Sardinian design overlooking the turquoise-rimmed Costa Smeralda.
Tucked away among Mediterranean foliage, this hidden gem sits above a bay on the Costa Smeralda where the blue-on-blue vistas are best taken in from the outdoor pool. With a dusky pink-tinged façade and terracotta-tiled roof, L’Ea Bianca Luxury Resort nods to traditional Sardinian design, updated with a dose of modern luxury including an excellent spa, refined dining and private stretch of beach. This resort is all about slipping down a few gears. While away the hours stretched out on Cala dei Ginepri, rising only to dip into the bathwater-warm bay, or take a boat trip through the pink-sand islands scattered throughout La Maddalena archipelago. End your day by catching a sunset back at the hotel’s outdoor terrace, raised above the rocks for optimum views.
Why we love L'Ea Bianca Luxury Resort
-
This charming resort has the best of both worlds - it's perfect for rest and relaxation yet has an abundance of land and sea based activities for thrill seekers.
-
Just a few kilometres from the hotel is La Maddalena archipelago. Declared a marine park in 1994 it's a popular spot for diving and snorkelling.
-
Overlooking the sea and the hazy specks of La Maddalena beyond, request a candlelit dinner-for-two at The Roof.
-
Using products made from Sardinian botanicals and Mediterranean oils, enjoy some well-deserved pampering in the Recrea Spa.
Rooms
Rather than hundreds of soulless rooms, just 31 tranquil hideaways create an intimate boutique feel, all with sea view balconies, a classic earthy colour palette, wall-hung artwork and dark wood furnishings. Deluxe Rooms are bigger than Superior Rooms and throw in a chromotherapy bathroom, while the super spacious Junior Suites come with a living area. There are a handful of villas with butler service.
Facilities
At Lunaria Restaurant, Sardinian classics are served with a wine connoisseur on hand to recommend the perfect vintage pairing. Try the delicious seafood dishes at Lunaria Beach Restaurant and afterwards, linger over drinks at the piano bar. Private dinners can also be arranged at The Roof.
