The 50 variously sized and shaped rooms and suites are all individually decorated, with bold colour schemes, modern design pieces and eye-catching individual features. The cosy Classic Rooms have bags of contemporary flair, especially in the gold-leaf-coated bathrooms. Slightly larger Superior Rooms have views of the internal garden or the ancient rooftops, while the Deluxe Rooms are larger still. Alternatively, you could opt for a Suite, some of which come with Grand Canal views or mezzanine floors.
For a truly special occasion, the Belivel Superior Suite is on two floors and has a pair of balconies from where you can watch the boats on the Grand Canal.

If you’ve not been able to secure one of the handful of tables on the terrace beside the water, those in the beautiful courtyard garden are a very close second best.
