Reethi Faru

A casual, castaway isle

Cast adrift in the relatively undeveloped Raa Atoll, Reethi Faru is a private island retreat where the natural beauty takes centre stage.

It’s all about setting your own pace here. Wake to al fresco breakfasts, then sink your toes into the sand before diving into the warm lagoon or unwinding in the Balinese-style spa. Ramp it up with a huge choice of water sports – there’s everything from windsurfing to kitesurfing and paddleboarding (adrenaline junkies shouldn’t miss the jetpacks). Discover submerged islands and dramatic overhangs with Reethi Faru’s dive centre, or stick to dry land with tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, or yoga sessions.

Why we love Reethi Faru

  • A fabulous choice of restaurants and bars if you love variety

  • An impressive selection of water sports to try or master

  • Active types will love the out-of-water options too, including badminton and volleyball courts

  • Great accommodation options for families, plus private retreats for honeymooners
