Dining at Ravenala is a true pleasure and there's plenty of variety – from family-friendly to adults only. At dinner, the resort really comes into its own with nine restaurants to choose from, seven of which are included in the all-inclusive package.

Mozaïk
The main restaurant has breakfast and dinner buffets featuring local and international dishes, with themed nights to ring the changes.

Madame Ming
Discover the subtle flavours of Asian cuisine with dinner at this à la carte restaurant overlooking the swimming pool.

A Tavola
This informal dinner-only restaurant has a menu of Italian favourites and regional specialities that will appeal to all ages and tastes.

Ō
Feast on the catch of the day at Ō, the open-air à la carte Mediterranean restaurant beside the beach, which is just as inviting after dark as it is in the middle of the day.

The Bistrot
When nothing but a burger or perfectly cooked steak will do The Bistrot, with its stripped-back decor, is the place to come for lunch or dinner, or just a drink in the bar section. One night a week, it’s reserved just for adults.

Riviera
Treat yourself to a special dinner at Riviera floating restaurant, where you can enjoy stylish dishes such as scallops and Thai crab risotto in a supremely romantic river setting.

Kot Nou
At Attitude’s signature à la carte restaurant, traditional Mauritian cuisine has been given a modern makeover. Discover the island’s diverse flavours in the form of sharing plates, served in an at-home environment.

Lime
Enjoy sushi à la carte at lunch and a set menu of refined Japanese cuisine at night in a laidback setting beside the beach that’s just for grown-ups. Note that it’s not included in the all-inclusive package, except at lunch for those in the Executive Beachfront Adult Suites.

Taba-J
Sample the curry of the day and typical street-food snacks at this engaging little food truck and return later in the day for afternoon tea Mauritius style.

Pool Bar
Overlooking the main pool, this open-sided bar serves drinks and snacks, plus some late breakfast pastries served from 10am to 11am for those who’ve had a lie-in.

Ō Beach Bar
Sip a tropical cocktail while taking in the views of the sand and the sea from one of the swinging chairs by the bar or the armchairs on the deck.

Balcony Bar
The hotel’s lobby bar turns into a refined but mellow piano bar after 6pm.

After
With its mood lighting and cool music, this lively nightclub is a magnet for party animals.

Juice Bar
The brainchild of the island’s own ‘Mr Juice’ has a menu of seasonal juices and smoothies made using produce from nearby growers.

Teabaz
Take a break with a cup of fruity tropical tea or a fragrant infusion in this restful tea bar.

For a romantic dinner that’s out of the ordinary, reserve a table at Riviera, which floats above the Rivière Citron.

The treatments* at the charming POZ Spa draw on the island's natural elements of soil, sea, sun and plants. Within the spa complex, there are 10 treatment rooms as well as two couples’ rooms with a whirlpool bath. You can enjoy hydrotherapy or Vichy shower treatments or just unwind in the relaxation lounge – the perfect place to while away some time post-treatment. Take advantage of the spa facilities as a family with the specially adapted treatments for children aged between 3 and 12 years of age. Further facilities include a hammam and a sauna. There's also a gym.

A range of outdoor activities include table tennis, basketball, beach volleyball and tennis, and there are bicycles to hire if you want to head out and explore the local area.

Courses for beginners and trips for qualified divers are available at extra cost through the PADI Diving Centre.

There are no motorised water sports for environmental reasons, but you’ll hardly notice their absence when you can snorkel, hop in a kayak, Hobie cat or pedal boat, grab a stand-up paddle or windsurfing board, or head out on a floating bike instead.

There are automatic systems to turn off the air-conditioning in the rooms when the doors are opened. Guests can help themselves to locally made mineral sunscreen, which is better for the marine environment. As part of the zero-single-use-plastic policy, the hotel provides free refillable flasks and water fountains around the grounds. The products in the spa are completely natural, vegan friendly and come in fully recyclable packaging.

The resort’s Otentik Attitude experiences are designed to help you explore the rich local culture. Download the Otentik app and take a street food tour of Port Louis; or discover the island’s hidden gems. A must-do is having dinner with a local family during your stay*.

Ayo Le Dodo kids' club is free of charge and open from 9am-10pm for children aged 3 to 12 years old. A baby sitting services is also available for younger children at extra costs. For families with older children, the evening entertainment team put on some amazing shows, especially appealing for those who love dancing and would like to discover the local tradition of Mauritian rhythm.

The Family Suites sleep two adults and three children. These rooms are tucked away in a peaceful garden, and have a separate children’s bedroom with three sofa beds, and a spacious balcony or terrace.

Minimum age for Couple Suites and Executive Beachfront Adult Suites is 18.

Compulsory Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve gala dinners, supplements apply.
